Adding A New Document
Go to the 'My Documents' page.
When you first create your HeadTree, there won't be much here, just 1 item which is the root of your site ("HeadTreez" in this example).
So we need to add pages to our site, which we do by:
- Selecting a parent item from the left list (really easy when there is only one item there).
- Enter a new page name in the text box. (labeled 'New Document Name')
- Click 'Add' (or 'Add and Edit' to immediately edit the new page)
That is all it takes to add new pages to your site. Of course these pages will be blank until we add some content to them, but you can very quickly add lots of pages, in the correct place, and then fill out the page content later.
Don't be nervous about adding pages that you may not need. You can easily move or remove pages.
